Quality Monitoring Pathway Tools (1997) (KAHSA) This valuable resource is meant to be used in conjunction with a facility’s existing quality assurance program and the Quality Indicator reports which each Kansas nursing facility receives on a quarterly basis. The tools coincide with each of the 12 Quality Care Indicator Domains and lead the use on a "path" toward identifying and correcting possible individual and systemic resident care problems. The pathways were developed considering the federal survey protocols and clinical guidelines.

Record Retention in Long-Term Care Facilities with Detailed Kansas Supplement (1992 & 2000) (AAHSA and Gail Edson) A Technical Assistance Brief contains a supplement detailing Kansas state requirements. This booklet provides an excellent guide to records retention in long-term care and other health care facilities, identifying those records that must be retained and the minimum retention periods for such records. KAHSA has added a valuable supplement that contains Kansas specific requirements regarding retention.
