In the late summer of 2006, the town of Little River came together in an effort to promote their small community. The goal was to attract new residents by advertising the businesses and services in Little River. They accomplished this by running a series of advertisements on local television stations over a period of months.
Sandstone Heights played a large role in the advertising campaign by making the initial contact with the news station and coordinating efforts in the community. As a result, their organization received an excellent spot in the advertisements which placed their nursing home and elders in a wonderful light.
