New Caregiving Report Can Help You Plan for Local Service Needs

It is important to recognize that the nearly 66 million caregivers are a critical extension of our formal health care system. The National Alliance for Caregiving, in collaboration with AARP and MetLife has released a new study on family caregivers, past and present. Caregiving in the U.S. examines the prevalence of and demographics of caregivers, the nature of caregiving activities, how caregivers are affected by their role, information needs and information sources, and use of technology.

Caregiving in the U.S is an excellent resource for KAHSA members as they consider their charge to meet unmet needs of the elderly and in their strategic planning efforts.
